Forest Stewardship Council:

--> When FSC certified materials are used, the environment is being protected and it is helped to ensure that forests still exist for generations to come therefore, FSC certified timber is suitable timber for furniture because it is in high demand and can be used guilt free.
--> Environmentally conscious.
--> Grown in sustainable forests, sourced from the UK and European countries therefore, it is more widely available resulting in the cost of the material decreasing.

FSC's “tick tree” logo is used to indicate that products are certified under the FSC system. When you see the FSC logo on a label, you can buy forest products with confidence that you are helping to ensure our forests are alive for generations to come.
